KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting Club, on Thursday, has announced their squad for the upcoming Calcutta Football League in a Press Conference held at club tent.

2016/17 I-League’s top scorer Dipanda Dicka and Nigerian midfield maestro Kalu Ogba headline a list that also includes 8 players from Bengal’s 2017 Santosh Trophy winning squad.

Club President Jb. Sultan Ahmed M.P, Working President Jb. Jameel Manzar, General Secretary Jb. Ghazal Zafar, Assistant General Secretary Jb. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Football Secretary Jb. Iqbal Ahmed MLA, Ground Secretary Jb. Mohammed Qamaruddin, Chairman of Football Committee Shri. Dipendu Biswas MLA, Chairman of Youth Development Jb. Sharique Ahmed and Vice-Chairman of Youth Development Jb. Hasnain Ahmed were present on the occasion beside Head Coach Biswajit Bhattacharya, Goalkeeper Coach Partha Chakraborty and entire squad of 38 players.

At press conference Jb. Sultan Ahmed announced defender Rana Gharami will lead the team in the Calcutta Premier Division – A while winger Sheikh Faiaz will be his deputy.

Further, striker Manvir Singh was felicitated by the club for getting his maiden India senior national team call up.
