MOHAMMEDAN-PEERLESS CFL MATCH SHIFTED TO BARASAT FROM KALYANI

KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting Club’s fourth 2017/18 Calcutta Premier Division – A fixture against Peerless Sports Club which is scheduled on Saturday 26 August 2017, has been switched from Kalyani to Barasat Stadium, after the Club has requested the Indian Football Association.

Earlier this week, the Club sent a letter to IFA that had requested a change in venue from Kalyani to Barasat for comfort of the fans, as it gets very difficult and tiring for most of them to travel 60 kilometers from Kolkata to watch the match.

“We thank the Indian Football Association for their cooperation and all other parties involved for their cooperation and assistance in organizing the match at Barasat. We look forward to seeing big crowds flock to Barasat for what is set to be a fantastic game of football,” club official Mr. Belal Ahmed Khan said.

The Black Panthers has enjoyed large crowd support at Barasat in both games played there, and the third game is certain not to disappoint.

The Calcutta Premier Division – A match between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Peerless Sports Club will kick off at 6:30 PM on Saturday.
