FOOTBALL COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN DIPENDU BISWAS DONATE RS 50000 TO YOUNG FOOTBALLER

KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting Club Football Committee Chairman Mr. Dipendu Biswas has donated Rs. 50000 to former ATK Junior Team goalkeeper Rahul Das for his treatment.

The young shot-stoper, who idolize former Mohammedan Sporting Club custodian Priyant Singh, has joined ISL franchise ATK’s Junior Team last year which plays the lower division of Calcutta Football League and picked up a injury in his left knee while playing a practice match against Calcutta Customs which later turned out to be a torn ACL.

Thereon, things went in a wrong direction for the keeper as after months of wrong treatment followed by a failed surgery made the matter worse for Rahul who now almost have his career ended.

However, Rahul refuse to bow and still dream of returning to the field despite not being able to walk under his own power for last one year. Mr. Biswas has wished him good luck and also assured all kinds of future assistance.
