KALU OGBA REACH KOLKATA; JOIN TRAINING TOMORROW

KOLKATA: Nigerian midfielder Kalu Ogba Nnanna has arrived in Kolkata to play the upcoming 2016/17 Calcutta Football League Premier Division – A on Wednesday evening.

The midfield maestro, who won the I-League for Churchill Brothers in 2009, was welcomed by Club’s Youth Development Vice-Chairman Jb. Hasnain Ahmed at airport.

Known for his dogged displays in the middle of the park, the play-maker joins the Black Panthers after spending the previous season at Southern Samity, where he performed well during his 13 I-League 2nd Division appearances.

“I am delighted to sign for Mohammedan Sporting Club. It’s a great club with top players and passionate fans.” said Kalu.

“I can’t wait to get started now. I believe it can be a special season for all of us and I will be working hard to produce the kind of performances that will help us achieve what we are aiming for,” he added further.

The Nigerian will hit the ground running at Mohammedan Sporting Club tomorrow.
