KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting Club have appointed Nigeria-born naturalized Indian fitness expert Saheed Sunkanmi Ramon as the Physical Trainer and Conditioning coach of the first team.

The 30-year-old will report to Head Coach Biswajit Bhattacharya and has given responsibility of first team’s fitness, strength and conditioning, as well as working in the Youth Development Program.

Ramon used to be a professional footballer himself, who holds the AFC C License coaching certificate, has already joined club’s pre-season training during it’s recently concluded residential training camp at Kalyani.

The former striker stepped foot on Indian soil in 2008 and went on to play various reputed leagues such as Mizoram Premier League, Assam State League and Tripura Football League, and after calling it a day on his playing career he turned to coaching in 2015.
