Mohammedan SC Organised Annual Grassroots Festival

KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting Club celebrated AIFF Annual Grassroots Football Day on Wednesday (14 November 2018) by organizing  Grassroots Football Festival at Mohammedan Sporting Ground. The Club has also inaugurated the Black Panthers Football Schools on the occasion.

Mohammedan SC — under newly appointed Head of Youth Development Yan Law and Chairman of Youth Development Programme SK. Wasim Akram — has intensified their grassroots activity with an aim to reach out to maximum number of kids from the Kolkata and neighbouring areas.

A large number of kids in the age group of 6 to 15 years from the Club’s Youth Development Programme participated in matches and drills that were both fun and engaging. Besides providing more footballing lessons, a key focus of this festival is to instil positive values in youths who are at the crucial stage of development.

While developing good players is part of the development strategy for the Club, having the coaches develop at the same pace as the players will be the key to success, and for the same Mohammedan Sporting Club is organizing AIFF ‘D’ License Coaching Course next month.
