KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting Club will face Shillong Lajong FC in their last Group B fixture of the 2017/18 U-13 Youth League Final Round on Thursday at the Sailen Manna Stadium in Howrah. Kick-off at 4:00 pm.

The Young Panthers, who beat Dempo Sports Club 2-0 in the opener on Sunday, needs a draw against Lajong to qualify for the semi-finals. However,  Mohmmedan SC U-13 Head Coach Ananta Kumar Ghosh left no doubts that his team will go for the victory.

“I know a draw is enough for us but once we try and play for a draw, we might end up losing the game. We are going in for a win that’s the only goal we have in mind. That’s the only way we can approach.” said Ghosh.

Lajong, on the other hand, suffered a 1-2 defeat against Dempo in their first Group B fixture and need to win the match at any cost to progress beyond the group stages.
