It Feels Good To See The Supporters Happy – Saheed Ramon

KOLKATA: “This is the result we wanted,” said coach Saheed Ramon after seeing through his side winning their second match of the ongoing Calcutta Premier Division ‘A’. “Credit to the entire team. We really worked hard for this win. It feels good to see the supporters happy.”

Mohammedan Sporting Club beat Kalighat MS 3-1 on Saturday to go level on points with log leaders Peerless SC, however, trail to an inferior goal-difference. The win was powered by Man of the Match Arthur Kouassi’s brace. The Ivorian was well supported by Vanlalbiaa Chhangte, who not only expertly operated from the right but also contributed with a goal and assist.

“We could have scored more, especially in the second-half,” continued Ramon. “Our decision making robbed us of some possibilities, but I am pleased with the progress we are making.”

Though happy with the three points, Ramon believes there is still a lot of work to do. “We had some moments of jitters at the back but recovered and became solid with the progress of the game. We will work on that. When you have collected three points it makes it easy to go back and fix the mistakes,” noted the Nigerian mentor.

The Black Panthers will take on Bhawanipore FC next on Wednesday Mohammedan Sporting Ground in what promises to be yet another mouth-watering clash.
