KOLKATA, 3 March 2018: Newly signed Bayi Kamo Stephane has joined training at the Mohammedan Sporting Club Ground today after having returned from Ivory Coast yesterday night. “I appreciate the opportunity to play for Mohammedan,” the striker comments.

However, Kamo did not trained with the first team due to fatigue.

“It was a great day. Joining a big club like Mohammedan and having my first session with them was great. I was welcomed warmly by everybody. It was a great experience,” Kamo continues.

“The words of encouragement from the coaches, players and officials was a very positive thing for me. I have never felt so welcomed at a new place, I honestly feel at home,” he added further.

Kamo was signed during the January transfer window from Kerala-based Gokulam Kerala FC, which he joined after a successful 2017/18 Calcutta Football League campaign with Mohun Bagan.

“I will make sure to repay the confidence and trust the club have shown in me. In a big club like Mohammedan you have to be tuned in all the time. Definitely it’s challenging but challenges are good because that’s how you grow.” he concluded.
